@OutdoorGirl95 Firstly 100lbs is to small the minimum weight should be at least 110lbs for a small female , Do you have FB? if so pm me with the details and I can put you in touch with breeders of CAO's from all over Europe and if you prefer the dogs with natural ears and tails I can put you in touch with a couple of breeders from the? UK who have very good breeding stock . I think it's down to her success with the breed most other breeders probably envy her lol

@TheInsomniac247 When I was interested in purchasing? a CAO I tried searching for breeders in other countries and had a hard time finding some. Do you know of any good Working CAO breeders who have average 100 lb max Breed Stock dogs? Or is that too small for a CAO? I have heard about the poor Almaz pedigree and seen the videos, it's sad. I had no idea Fire Fox was so good, I do not know why that one person said they were a BYB.

@OutdoorGirl95 My female is from Russian working lines and is similar in size and build to the females that Firefox Farm is producing at around the same size as a male Rottie yet is more agile and faster than any Rottie I've seen moving lol If you do purchase a CAO in the states do not buy any CAO with Almaz in the pedigree because they are riddled with skeletal problems . Firefox actively rescues CAO from allover the US unlike most of? the CAO breeders I know of in the US :)

@OutdoorGirl95 The COA that Firefox Farm breeds are in fact working type they're smaller than the fighting and show line CAO they are only a little bigger than the Sage Koochee regional variation of the Alabia type dogs...as for my dogs my male who is from fighting lines was around 130lbs at only 9 month old and is considerably? heavier now yet he is a very agile dog for his size and will make any english mastiff look rather slow and clumsy in comparison .

Your CAO has a perfect build and I always loved them with the tail and ears left. I wouldn't doubt a moment that your CAO can keep up but I might not be able to say the same for those 130 lbs + CAO's.

@TheInsomniac247 I am talking? about the showline CAO's not the working ones who still guard flocks and are lighter in build. Usually the showlines are 130 lbs + and a dog that weight cannot move fast for long. Ironically I think a GSD would have a hard time keeping up with a CAO because of their bad backs/hips. And I only heard from another CAO enthusiast that they were a BYB. I had never seen nor talked to these Breeders to see if it is actually true.

@OutdoorGirl95 I can't help but reply to you because you seem to assume that CAO's have no stamina lol which is the exact opposite to the reality of the breed...I have two CAO's that have absolutely no problem keeping up with our hyper active GSD when walked on our mountains and in the national park. Foxfire Farms is not a BYB I mean what BYB imports their breeding stock and health? tests them with documents to prove the results...which she will show you if requested too!!!

Lol two dogs would be cool but I am not sure If I want two dogs. It seems like the dogs bond closer to each other than the? person who owns them. If not then I just might own two dogs. They could easily mush me around in the Idaho snow!

@OutdoorGirl95 yeah its impossible to own smaller animals like cats & parrots and such. when around an akita inu the workingline gsd would be the most suitble dog for anything pretty much. theiy got the good drive.a dogo and a working type gsd would be a perfect combo id get the both of them if i were you. be a good comapions to have by urside.?

@DogSoldier011 I like the LOOK not temperment of the Akita Inu's. They have some cool coat colors for sure. Yea I would love to won a Working GSD. They are the best pick for me out of all those breeds if I can get one? with a straight back. The Dogo comes second because of its short coat and I plan on moving up north to Idaho. I would have to get some Thermals and Jackets for him!

@OutdoorGirl95 yea bandogs are great animals anything crssed with any apbt through any mastiff mix or mastiff type dogs are considerd bandogs from my understanding lol we got BSL here in Onatrio Canada, meaning we cant have pitbull types but theirs tons of them for sale lol. croppeed ears is what makes a dog look good i liek the natrul ears, cropped ears? show the dogs perfect jaw structure. their very energtic dogs to :) one breed you woudlnt find in pet shops mostly markets.

@DogSoldier011 That's too bad. I got to see a Blue Brindle Pit/Presa mix at a store last month, he was 80 lbs and all muscle. Cropped ears and big head too. Yea Big dogs are harder to handle but I think they make up for it in protection and being able to keep up with me while running, depending on the breed of? course.

@DogSoldier011 Yea I have had my fair share of injuries and I am only 16. I just get too competitive and do not have self control when exercising sometimes. Oh well my fault I should have listened to my body. What injury did you get and did you ever do any sports? Yea their devotion is great but I would never be able to get? past the primitive cold-shoulder temperment. That is what I have noticed, the dogs act like they hate their owners not that they are their companion.
